Rich Schefren’s Manifesto Trilogy

Posted By Patricia Ritsema van Eck On 11th October 2006 @ 11:14 In Thin Electrons, products | 1 Comment

Rich Schefren mailed out yesterday that he’s about to release the third and last part in his Manifesto trilogy. I’m very excited about this and anxious to read what other eye-opening materials he put together.

Most likely you already heard of his first and second Manifesto manuscripts. But if you haven’t read them yet, this is awesome information and to me personally it made a lot of loose neurons click…

Entrepreneur or Opportunist?

Rich makes it abundantly clear why 95% of internet marketers fail to make a living online. He even says it’s 99.5%…

The question you need to ask yourself:

Are you a true entrepreneur or are you actually an opportunist?

I’ll confess to you straight away: I have been behaving more as an opportunist than as an entrepreneur. Despite Mark’s continuous guidance. Thanks to Rich I got back on track with Simpleology (yes, I had been neglecting this too).

Process Mapping

What was also very important to me is Rich’s explanation of process mapping. He didn’t invent it himself, but he makes very prominent use of process maps to run his business.

Turn process mapping into your new habit right away and you will get new value out of every ebook you read, audio you listen to or seminar you attend. Process mapping takes you a HUGE step beyond simply making notes (and most likely forgetting about them…).

Thin Electrons Elite will include a LOT of process maps. Coming very soon now… But you can already see what I mean when you download the Word Cloud Secrets action sheets from the [2] membership area. (You’ll find them under the link ‘Your Surprise Bonuses’ in the Word Cloud Secrets navigation box.)

With a process map you have a very clear overview of everything which needs to be done to accomplish a task or reach a goal. Because everything is dissected in small action steps and decision moments and put in the proper sequence. All you need to do is focus on the starting point and simply follow the arrows. This leads you to your goal in a simple step by step manner without getting lost in the details.

Focus on Strength

Another thing to watch for is the way you use your strengths in your business. There are so many things which need to be done to run a business and you will simply not excell in each and every skill it takes. But what do you focus on? What you can or what you cannot do?

The 2nd part in the trilogy called the ‘Missing Chapter’ talks about discovering your strengths and how this makes a difference in your approach to business…

Complementary to Simpleology

If you want to experience an instant swing in focus and determination, make sure you start on Simpleology as well. Or start over like me. Whereas Rich’s Manifesto can bring you a mental revelation, Mark Joyner’s Simpleology will let you experience it hands on in real life…

Mark makes a big point out of backward planning your action steps once you have determined your long, medium and short term goals. Once you have your backward plan, turn it into a process map!

I personally also add simple checklists which leave a little room for personal notes. So I have a process map sitting on my desk to keep track of where I’m at (plastified even!) and a checklist next to my keyboard to record what I’ve done.

It also help to stay on track when you are interrupted by phone calls and urgent email help requests. Because your thoughts are on something else, you’ll be sitting thinking: “What was I doing again?” I even had it happen that I’d start on something completely different because there was just too much ‘noise’ in my head…

But with my process map and checklist I cannot go wrong!

I’ll mail out the minute I know part 3 of Rich’s trilogy is available for download.

Happy digesting! ;-)
